One moment, everything is great. The next, wham. Kitty has had enough! Does your cat suddenly bite you during petting? Watch this video for advice from Aunt Stacey.
My sweet tabby cat, Shadey, joined our family over a decade ago as a foster failure. Her seemingly erratic behavior made it obvious why she had been given such a name. Over time. we’ve gained her trust. She loves us and we love her. Shadey thoroughly enjoys being petted. So much so that she will drool excessively when the scratches and rubs are just right. BUT she does get overstimulated. We’ve had to learn to read and respect her cues so 1) we don’t get bitten 2) her frustration doesn’t escalate and 3) our bond strengthens.
