One of my favorite ways of connecting with cat lovers has always been at trade shows and conferences. I’ve had the honor and pleasure of presenting classes and workshops at several industry events, including: The Cat Grooming Symposium (Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; Portland, Maine; Salt Lake City, Utah), U.S. Pet Pro Classic (Dallas, Texas), SuperZoo (Las Vegas, Nevada), Groom Expo West (Pasadena, CA), and Atlanta Pet Fair (Atlanta, Georgia). Presentations are typically 1-2 hours in length and include live hands-on demonstrations of various handling and grooming techniques.

I uploaded my first video to YouTube in 2011 with a focus on understanding feline behavior during grooming. My library has expanded with videos for specific grooming tasks and includes instructions for sanitary clips, lion clips, bathing, drying, and much more. The pet industry is rapidly changing, in many ways for the better. Scientific research is proving what animal lovers have known all along; Animals are sentient beings who share our ability to feel emotions and have tremendous intellectual capacity. Working with this knowledge, we are able to bridge communication gaps and achieve remarkable success in our interactions with them.
My passion for cat grooming and behavior is equally matched by my enthusiasm to share with others the knowledge I’ve gained as a professional cat-exclusive groomer, behavior consultant, industry speaker, and, most importantly, cat guardian/servant.
